Rediscovering reading has been one of the most fun things I've done in my adult life! My elementary school assigned children reading levels based on how they tested, and despite all logic, they would straight up scold you if you read above your reading level. Seriously? Isn't challenging yourself entirely how you learn a new skill? Anyways, I tested HORRIBLY in reading, not because I didn't understand it, but I was so bored by the content that I truly didn't find it in me to care. Because of that, I was scolded for reading books above my level (I still remember, I was level O and all my fav books were in level P), and it effectively killed my love for reading! In high school, I would read the occasional classic rock musician autobiography, but it wasn't until I became super interested in everything Alan Cumming (yes, the Scot actor) that I started reading for fun in my adult life. Since then, I've read a lot of really good stuff! Check out my reading list :3 I am a large fan of nonfiction/memoirs, but there are a few fictions put in there too!

During college, I became THE patron saint of hanging out in the library. Not only did we get free printing access which I most definitely abused for bullet journal reasons, but there was a Starbucks inside open late and a bunch of tables facing out near a huge window. If I wasn't working or in class, I likely was in there. I really love third spaces and want to find ways I can support them!

I wanted my library tab to simulate the experience of an actual library, where there are plenty of things to check out besides books! Libraries are one of the few standing cultural centers which are truly there for the sake of knowledge and community! I've got my zines, bullet journal archive, and more available to browse.
