working on the recipe section

explored around neocities today and saw some really great ideas of how to organize my recipes! uhhh i'm not sure how well i'd be able to replicate them so for now at least i'm getting a basic format set up. it's kinda the same as all my other ones but honestly i think it looks nice and i like it. who cares if its made for desktop only! i like websites looking meant to be seen on a computer rather than a phone.

while showing off my fabulous neocities website to my friends i discovered that the mobile version looks ASSSSSS. like oh my god. i've gotta learn responsive design or whatever it's called. at least i figured out how to make the containers not crumble on each other in the mobile version. today i also worked on the book review and added the favorite books section. since i already write all my reviews in my bullet journal there isn't much point in typing them out. i've just included my favorites. i'm wondering how i'd be able to make it so whenever you hover over the image there'd be a mini-review of just the favorites but that sounds very complex for my review on a book you just gotta read and then you'll know its good. it's just me here! who am i trying to impress? (me)

definitely still in early stages, but i've coded the general structure of my book review page. i don't know if i'm going to write out every review for every book i read but maybe i'll throw in a quote that i really enjoyed and have the stars as the extent of my review.

heyyy! i've made a website that in my opinion doesn't look too bad! this is my first time really making a coding project. i taught myself a little bit a year ago when i was in the trenches of academic frustration and then totally abandoned it. but it's kinda fun to problem solve and make something cool! if you wanna chat head to one of my tumblr blogs :3
